I really feel like we need to change the mindset in the Community.
We need to hold people accountable for there actions. I personally feel like Welfare and Child Support is holding us back as a black community. If a female is receiving assistance she must work or volunteer until she finds a job. If a man is forced to financial provide for his child a female must be also.
All these government funded agencies are robbing people blind and not doing anything for the community. As much money as women are collecting on food stamps, all the pantries are full, and the schools are providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the children, why are so many children starving, something is not right. Instead of looking at the picture the government funds more non profit organizations to start and make a change.
Why are so many non-profits struggling to get volunteers, if you receive assistance from an agency you should volunteer with that agency.
We need to stop letting people off the hook. Why are so many young women striving to be a CNA and not go further, why are so many women settling for men who will not treat them right, why are so many young girls wearing bundles and more bundles, something is wrong here.
Why don't the schools have books, why are the schools not reaching the children, why are the test scores slowly dropping, why are so many black males dropping out of school? Why is it okay to do illegal activities in front of your children, why can't communities come together?
Why is it okay to have some one tell you where you will live, why do we set ourselves up for limitations, why do we sell our children's social security number, why do we feel we all need to wear MK to the point we will purchase knockoff brands, why is it okay to get tattoos everywhere, why is it okay to have liquor at a 1 year old birthday?
People will not have such a problem if you are receiving assistance while trying to better yourself, do not sit around and create more babies, then your babies start having babies.
Set morals and goals in your house old.
In 2016 have conversations with your children. find a church home for you and your family, get involved in the community you live in, volunteer more, change lives, and help others.
